Mushroom Sauce by Manu

This is my take on a mushroom sauce that pairs wonderfully with poultry, pork or pasta dishes.

Strong and full-bodied, prepared with porcini and button mushrooms, white wine, beef glace and pure cream for a little bit of indulgence. Enjoy!

  • Water, Beef Stock [Australian beef bones & meat (50%), water, onions, carrots, celery, onion paste, tomato paste, herbs and spices], Pasteurised Cream (contain milk, 35% milk fat), Mushrooms (8.98%), White Wine (may contain Milk), Onions, Tapioca Flour, Canola Oil, Unsalted Butter (contains Milk), Porcini Mushroom (<1%), Garlic, Salt, Pepper.

  • Storage conditions:

    Keep refrigerated, store at or below 5°C. Once opened, consume within 3 days.

    Once opened use within 5 days.

    Shelf life:

    Sealed: 180 days from manufacture date

    Opened: 3 days from opening

  • STOVE TOP HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Tear or cut open pouch. Pour contents of pack into a small saucepan and place over medium heat.

    2. Bring to the boil, reduce heat to simmer for 1-2 minutes. Stirring occasionally.

    3. Pour over your perfectly cooked piece of beef or protein of your choice.

    MICROWAVE HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Tear or cut open pouch. To microwave in the pouch, ensure that the base of the pouch has no kinks to avoid spillage.

    2. Alternatively, pour contents of pouch into a 250ml capacity microwave-safe jog or bowl.

    3. Microwave on high (1000w) for 90 seconds, stirring after 1 minute.

    3. Pour over your perfectly cooked piece of beef or protein of your choice.
